Recommendations for OpenWRT/Gargoyle compatible modem/router combo available locally?

Hi all,

I am looking for a Router/modem available locally that will work with OpenWRT or Gargoyle, been searching for hours and have come up with nothing available locally!

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Tp link wndr 3500/3600/4300 plus any cheap modem. I think you can get everything from uniterm direct (dbg.co.za), perhaps even takealot.

Edit, takealot has the 3500 for R709.

I see why my searching was turning up nothing, I was looking for a combo modem/router which are not generally supported by a custom firmware.
