Recommended gaming headphones

Looking to buy a new gaming set that reasonably priced. Have a red dragon one its pretty good but all the vinyl coatings peeled off. Any recommendations. Its for casual gaming so not going to pay R8k. preferred usb input to the PC not 3.5mm jacks. So my red dragon has a console that plugs to the PC usb and the headphones plug into that console. Dont mind wireless either

any recommendations ?

Just note that it you have hot and sweaty ears the cheaper faux leather synthetic materials tend to flake quickly.

wires are less latency even decent bluetooth will have some latency and the ones that have game mode drop the sound quality a bit.

No latency on proprietary dongle.

Also they said casual gaming.

But you can have it all with the Steelseries...USB wireless dongle or cable if you really feel you have to pretend you can hear a latency difference. Also the most comfortable headset out there by far.

This. I had the Sony Pulse headset - the headpieces fell apart.

Then got the Steelseries Arctis Nova 7P headphones - much better sound and very good with the hot-ears thing.

Most systems you can setup the match the latency, 2ghz wifi shouldn't have, bt normal does have and it's annoying if you can't match audio.

However, you do get low latency and ultra low latecy. These always decreases audio quality.
