Recommended MTN data package

After exhaustive testing I have confirmed that the only provider that will work adequately in the house of a buddy of mine is MTN.

As such, I'd like to know what MTN package you would recommend for browsing, Youtube videos and smartphone WiFi access. No heavy downloads, such as torrents, but also adequate data to update various smartphones and tablets every month.

Of the recommended packages do they come with the 3G modem, or is that extra and if so what modem should be bought?
