Hi all,

I need to record a phone call to my builder :D
Yeah, I know I need to tell the stupid **** that I am recording it, which is fine.

Now I have my bluetooth phone, which sets up my notebook as a headset, but now I need recording software for WinXP pro to record the conversation. I can record it directly on my phone, but I am afraid I won't have enough space on my Memory Card (its gonna be a llooooonnnnggggg shouting session) :eek:

Any ideas what I can look at?

Thanks

@killadoob: That is, and always will remain an option :)
@stoke: thanks mate!

go to www.hitsquad.com and look under mps software/recording

tons to download...may find some other goodies.

Always mute your other channels-line/mic/cd/ and leave only wave on(in the recording option).That's to prevent any unwanted noise .

good luck

what about Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder?

I am using it every now and then on my Windows 2000, I believe on XP it is still there ...

sound recorder records 1 minute of sound.

you better talk quick

hmmm true ... never thought of that ... I always use it to test if I have connected the cables correctly :)

I also use Audacity, it is free and pretty cool for recording

if you have a symbain phone you could just install call recorder that will record everything for you it has a 30day trail
