Recourse against supplier not delivering

Hi All,

Seeking some advise, I'm sure someone has been in a similar situation...

I have ordered a single and double garage door with automation and paid a deposit. After several commitments and failed promises over the last two months, the vendor eventually delivered the double door. However I am now struggling to the door installed with the automation and a refund on the signal door as I have cancelled this. I have also requested a refund for the double door installation and automation as I am now seeking another installer to provide this.

What is the best course of action to recover these funds, should I lodge a case of theft or fraud with SAPS?

Try a lawyers letter and then the small claims court is the next option. Or one of those guys with the baseball bat.

@Pineapple Smurf I contacted another installer and all they said was "let me guess you got the door from XYZ based in Ballito" They have such a bad rep already I'm really surprised they still around. Foolish of me not to check reviews, I usually do and this time I didnt. If I had read the reviews I would have stayed far away!!
