Recover accidentally deleted files

Hey guys,

I stuffed up quite badly, and by mistake (Doing too many things at once) deleted 4 MKV's. The files were on a removable USB drive. Each file was roughly 8GB. No data has been written to the drive since. I have tried a couple of applications (GetDataBack, Active Undelete and some other one) but all of them report the file size as 0 bytes. They all show the files, but when recovering them, it recovers a file, with the correct name, but containing no data.

Anybody know of any good tools to recover deleted files? Really not in the mood to DL 32GB again.

Thanks in advance.

hey guys, thx for the advice... tried Recuva, and even that reports 0 b size :( oh well, 32GB it is :( dont understand how this could have happened, but, irrelevant at the moment. As a program, Recuva seems awesome, and I will definitly recommend it to anyone who is looking for file recovery software.

mic_y, in Recuva somewhere there is an option to search for undeleted files as well (when a harddrive goes bad) instead of deleted files (when you made a silly mistake). Try selecting that option as well, you never know...
