Hi guys, im looking for good recruiters in gauteng, preferably close to the east rand, but any would be appreciated. i dont really know how to go about this so please bear with me

Recruiters location can be anywhere in Gauteng I find. Irrespective of location recruiters always mention jobs in Sandton even if they're located in Pretoria.

Worst thing I find is they all want your CV first rather than listen what and where you want to work. Then they come back with opportunities where you'll sit 4 hours in traffic per day.

It's like their clients want to see 10 resumes to choose 1 candidate and the recruiter couldn't care a flying **** if it suits you. They just want their quota. Worst thing is after you don't get the job the recruiter gives no response you unless they have another position.

The biggest IT recruiter is located in Bruma. It's a group of recruitment companies owned by the same company and they share positions. One is Network Recruitment. Can't recall the others names.

Put your CV on Pnet and every recruitment agency will eventually see it.

Prepare for PNet harrassment to the max. You will receive more emails and phone calls in one day than you have in your entire life :p

Draw an encircled pentagram, light candles at the five points, put a print out of your CV in the middle and wait. If nothing happens after 5 minutes, just repeat "The power of commission compels you." for a few minutes more.

no theres a more powerful way,

set your CV on fire under a full moon and gather the ashes on the ground and write I want to work in the east rand!
maybe might help;:D

otherwise get used to it dude, we in that sector of the city that everything far away from us;
unless you work in logistics, or at the airport most IT work is in sandton or surrounds ; learned that the hard way....

get a gautrain card and catch the train from Marlboro if you find a job in sandton
from the east Marlboro is 15KM away, doable and once in sandton AKA manahattan of africa catch a bus to your job;

that is unless you enjoy traffic?
