Do you have an account with them? If not, when you get the pricelist how will you end up purchasing items from them??
 
erm becarefull coz last time i bought from rectron they said ok did everything
then next time i asked for sometihng they gave me all **** about not being a company and not wanting to sell 2 indiviruals
stupid basterds
 
They specifically only sell to compaines registered with them, don't know why they sold to you first time round.

@johndoe1983, I promise you retailers are not ripping you off, they make 10% tops usually. IC is a lot more expensive because of their overheads, buy from an online shop or smaller retailer and you will get the best prices available to you.

I'm slowly also seeing how much markup some components get at some distributors before they hit the reseller. Not nice, but whaddyagonnado. :(
 
Ahhh so it's the distributors we should be complaining about. :p

Don't if you don't want to, but what sort of markups? (how much) Are you talking markup after all the costs of importing, or including the costs?

Got a couple of guys with accounts, just comparing the 1 to the other. Mainly monitors, as eg. Benq (esquire) vs. Samsung (rectron) pricing,
The samsung 27" looks mighty interesting for such a cheap price.

Find the TV LCD's quite pricey though (strange)...

Who sells the medi8tors? I thought rectron sold it?

Any1 got a sonic pricelist though, I used to buy from them constantly in cpt, found their pricing to be fantastic & excellent post sales support.
Am in joburg @ the mo though, just out of interest - as mentioned above, comparing prices.
