Red dead redemption 2 online

I played RDR2 on day of release but can't play the online version. Anybody having this issue?
 
I bought mine on pre-order but I dont have access either to the online section.

So either we had to register that I dont know off or we were just not randomly selected.

Something like that I guess. I checked again just now and no luck. I'm gonna wait until 8:30 EST then check again. This is really annoying...
 
Nope, but I did play on day one. I saw onther people on other forums get access and also played day one, so don't know what the issue is.
 
Not possible, you need Ultimate edition in order to play the Online beta before its open for everyone.

From another site:-

  • Tuesday, Nov. 27: Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition owners. The code can be found in your game’s packaging.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 28: anyone who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on Oct. 26
  • Thursday, Nov. 29: anyone who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between Oct. 26 and Oct. 29
  • Friday, Nov. 30: all owners of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Wait a second, it says:
  • Wednesday, Nov. 28: anyone who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on Oct. 26
It says anyone who played, not Ultimate edition owners.

I don't know if they're referring to people that played RDR 2 Online on Oct 26 or RDR 2 Single Player.

I didn't play Single Player so I don't know for sure, but if you played RDR 2 on Oct 26, and you still can't play RDR2 Online, I'd imagine they're referring to Playing on Online :)

I think it makes sense to stress test the servers by limiting the amount of players... But who knows? :)

Yeah...Im gonna check it again now. Fingers crossed.
 
And is it on US time or our time when we logged in the first time?

Will see if I am online tonight.

But Wednesday night I was still not on.
 
Can we maybe create a posse or two?

Maybe just drop your gamertag and platform then we can team up whom ever plays online.
