Red October

There were riots taking place in Lenasia south this morning.. Soon they will start vandalizing the electricity :/

Yup, these are all very real problems for all South Africans, not just for whites.

It does seem however that non-whites (tha ANC majority) voted for the status quo to continue, i.e they were quite happy in the last election with the job that government was doing/not doing for them.

I suppose BEE, land reform
I have not been impacted by BEE or land reform so meh. I also dont have a problem with the idea of BEE because we have to reform the imbalances, but I hate its current implementation where only a few benefit.

and to some extent the farm murders.
Not a whites only problem. Crime is everyone's problem.

What do marches help anyway?
With this few people, almost nothing except finding more gullible people to join their ranks.

Am not sure they where voting for the status quo, I think they are giving the party that liberated them more time to try and put things right. Voting for the same party does not mean that you are happy with them (as service delivery protests attest to), just that the ANC will do the least poor job for their interests than any of the other parties.

My bank account doesnt feel as oppressed at 95% of South Africans....

If Im getting "oppressed", imagine their perspective!

+1, I don't feel oppressed but then am probably better off than most. I think if white South Africans experienced what most black South Africans go through every day they would feel less persecuted.
