Red "towers"n rollout pics??

The red triangles must be towers. There's a big mast more or less where the triangle is on my area's coverage map

ok? but if you look at the map I attached Rodekrans and Krugerdorp webb has no signal? Still a bit confused.

Aren't the red ones planned?

Was just checking .... aren't the red ones, planned?
'cause the towers I know about are black

Not sure but i know the Kyalami one is operational and it is red so.........

Those sites are existing but not live. I am in Roodekrans and I am picking up Roodepoort by chance that I have a sweet spot. If I move the modem I have to connect an external antenna and place it high on my outside wall

A-ah - that makes sense. existing but not live.
thanks kei.

now i can't wait for olivedale to become active. 200m from home

So i wonder which ones are live and when will the others come live ?

Strange, Roodekrans had a date next to it and then that was promptly changed to PLANNED after the date passed!

Who knows anymore - my speeds are so slow now i wonder if i am getting the signal from the moon ?????

craigsa, PM me, I am intrigued as to why your speed is so poor.

Not entirely sure - it fluctuates all the time. Some time i get speeds that make my T1 line i had in the USA look like dial up and other times i get speeds that make a modem look like its an oc48 line - go figure mate

Guys if you go to the website it says that they are LIVE so the red ones are live.http://www.iburst.co.za/rollout.php
Also i know for a fact that Kyalami is live and thats red so..................
And I know for a fact that Menlo-CSIR (Red) is not, and Sunnypark is (black) :D
Don't think the red/black reflects the current status. They've only decided today to get rid of the Pta towers underneath Jhb, so expect the maps to be outdated too ;)

yeah the maps are old but it would seem that they group stations together on the roll outs.

I would say on the date of publication the black is live and the red is planned
