Red wine temperature

I tend to store all my wine in the cooler at about 12 or 13 degrees, whites I'll serve straight from the fridge, reds I'll let stand out for about 30 minutes to an hour.

Oh, so they're all separated now?
Racist

At what temperature do you lot tend to drink your red wine?

There's nothing fun about going to a restaurant in summer and getting red wine at ambient temperature.
Depends on the red wine. Something like a Pinot Noir I like chilled - a Burgundy warmer.

Spur is (was in my case) for beer and ribs (or steak occasionally). That was my spur menu.
Spur is for drunk teenagers in my day looking for kak food at a good price

Wont catch me dead in that place now with 4500 screaming kids and their house boxed wine served in thick wine glasses

Only reason spur is still around is because of kids

Are you and @The_Ogre related?
I only drink from the bottle if I don't have a glass or there's something preventing me from using a glass. Like the other day, I had 2 litres of Castle and I was taking taxi. I always get the feeling everybody is staring at me while drinking in a taxi.

So I always keep the bottle in the plastic bag and drink straight from the bottle. The only challenge is to time your drinking because the beer needs to be finished by the time you get to your stop because if the police get you with an open beer, you're in deep schit.

Whatever the ice cools it down to.

I've always had strange looks when I throw ice into my red wine but pineapple smurfs have zero pineapples to give to what others think of us. I only drink dealcoholised now and that stuff has to be kept chilled if you don't finish the bottle in one go.

The only thing that does not get ice is my tea and coffee.
Ice. Even in my beer i want ice. If i want a hot beverage i'll drink coffee.

Define room temperature
I think in colder places like France etc in an underground cellar the wines are gonna be 15 to 20 degrees

In Pofadder in summer your room temp is 40 degrees. Theres no ****ing way i will drink that stuff then

I'm the only person to ever drink wine in Pofadder. The bottle store would have to personally stock up when they heard I was coming to visit the wife's family. My one brother in law would actually tell them a week before I arrive to get some wine.

I even cleared out my other boet-in-laws booze cabinet with wine from 80's as he said he never drank the stuff anyway.

There you drink your ice with wine.

But it's brandy and coke country that as nobody checks you skeef when you gooi more ice into your brandy class.

Red wine - straight from the cellar, so around 18-20 degrees Celcius. I hate the stuff though - tastes like a bergies drooling spit mixed with cheap coke. I prefer whiskey or spirits.
