Reduce Android Lag

SGS2 on 4.0.3 custom rom, does feel faster
Nexus 7 on 4.2.1. Not much difference really
 
SGS2 4.1.2 official leaked, no difference in speed or smoothness. Battery seems to discharge faster :erm:
 
I installed a new 4.2.1 based rom on my i9000 last night. Was experiencing terrible lag, to the point that I was going to roll back to 4.1. Then I installed Seeder this morning and it cleared it right up. Now it's about as fast as before. So..... I can vouch that it's doing something.
