Refer-a-friend fail.

I am very disappointed with AH this morning. I have been promising friends that they can get a good deal on fibre with you when I send them a referral. Now that I actually want to use it, it appears it applies to ADSL/VDSL only (why are you even marketing copper services any more??).
There is literally nothing on your website (https://www.afrihost.com/site/page/refer_a_friend) to indicate that this is an empty offer. I had to contact customer support via Whatsapp to find out why it is not working.
To make it worse, you are well aware of this. See this post of two years ago:

Now I have to go back to my friends and apologise for misleading them. I might as well tell them to consider other ISPs as well.

Unfortunately the refer a friend program is quite a legacy program that we have kept since we will still offer hosting packages and we have clients making use of that portion of this program.

We are evaluating the refer a friend program to see if we are going to keep it or make changes to it.
