Where on the new Client Zone can one do this for the mobile deals ??? I've been hunting high and low :p (only link I have is the old one sent to me via e-mail, but that was prior launch).

Anyhow.. by word of mouth, I got Afrihost 3 new clients in the last 2 days :p

Afriman , I need a T-Shirt :love:
 
Only incentive that Gian provided us with is an entry into a draw to win an iPad or a new iPhone if you generated signups by inviting someone using the email invite system available via the 'notices' system in the right-hand corner in the new clientzone.

We don't have Mobile on the refer a friend system yet, I'm sure we'll take some time on this and implement soon though :)
 
I have used my created refer links before and jack happens. People join the network but nothing comes of it, then they phone me and ask where is the discount. Even logged a support ticked on Thu, 05 Sep 2013 at 18:24. Got one reply from Samantha and that's it.

Then you/they are doing something wrong.... or signing up for the wrong products. Not all of their products are legible.

Rollover GB for each friend referred would be nice...:whistle:
 
What incentive would be get by referring our friends to join Afrihost family.

I already managed to signup many people to take advantage of Afrihost Mobile promotion. *Roughly around 80 people* and so far they content with the service except for the delays that caught them off guard.

As it stands for the moment, our Refer a friend gets you and your referrer 50% off their bill :)
 
I've read that some of you started with the Afrihost Refer a friend campaign some time ago. Kindly let know if you really received credit for people who signed up through your links

I used to get regular money off my Afrihost bill when I had a referral link in my sig. Seems odd.
 
Same problem here... Only got credit for first 2 who enrolled and thereafter nothing, even though my adverts still running

Hi! I just wanted to weigh in, if someone signed-up for a Capped, Uncapped or Hosting package using a referral link that you generated you will get 50% of the total value of the product that they signed-up in credit. The person that signs-up will also receive a discount for their first month.

They person signing will need to sign-up for the Capped or Uncapped account first, and then the Bundle to ensure that they receive the Referral Bonus.

What products did they sign-up for? You can PM me your account details and I'll check for you.

I think there is a bit of confusion with regards to how we track the Referral Sign-ups. To qualify for the referral bonus, the Client needs to use the actual link to complete the sign-up. Unfortunately there is no way for us to track the sign-ups unless that direct link is used. :(

The actual link never expires, but if someone doesn't use that link for the sign-up there is no way for us to find out if they completed the sign-up.
 
That is not what you promise on your Q & A page.

In fact, it's the total opposite and I quote:

"Question:
What happens if I tell someone about Afrihost, they click my link but only sign up months later?

Answer:
Whenever someone clicks your link they will be 'marked' as yours. If they return to the Afrihost site at any time in the next 6 months and signup for one of the services you will still be credited"
