Read this News24 Article.

Relocation makes no one happy.... but in this case an officially closed centre was being relocated to a better equipped UN run facility.

They intended to relocate the refugees to a centre in Johannesburg, which was managed by the United Nations.

But then, I don't quite understand the logic employed next...

A number of foreign nationals at the camp had reportedly vowed not to relocate, choosing instead to burn their shacks in protest against the looming eviction.

What is the thinking behind this? What is to be achieved?

More disturbing than this article was the 2 posted at the top of the page "
Cockroaches and garden gnomes" and "'We had to do it'"
 
Makes me wonder, now that the shacks are gone, let's upset them again, perhaps they'll set themselves on fire. It's been known to happen...

Typical..... if the train is late lets burn it so that we do not have to go to work at all..... we want free education........ :sick::sick:

y dont they just burn the refugees? Thats what I thought the thingy was about!
