Hello,

Has anybody else received an email from Sentech that they are issuing a credit note for Rx (for may) which will be deducted from June's debit order?

Nope - please provide full details?

Maybe post a copy of the email here? If they're giving it to you, they have to give it to everyone.

Did you ask for it? Please post the mail...

I think someone is pulling someone's leg, could be noone but who knows.[:D]

But on a serious not, Sentech is hard pressed to admit they are having problems, denying it down to 1% of sentech users (man, where did I hear that before) so them paying anyone a refund ...... Reminds me about thas rumour about pigs flying and cows coming home.

Bottom line, dont hold your breath. Hoax email maybe?

Of course I don't look busy.....I did it right the first time.

I did not get an email to confirm that, they actually called me... saying that I will receive a rebate in July. I was so taken by surprise about the call that I did not even ask what percentage. And to be honest, I do not really care how much it is... it has become a principles thing for me.

I asked them a few weeks ago for a refund, and I was laughed at.

Ja- I hear you... will get on that right away!!!

I am noone special, really. They did not offer me a rebate. I have been asking for a rebate since I logged
my first call with them. I will make a summary of my emails to the call centre and post them here...

I joined in May and for most of that time I had hardly any speeds. The amount they refunding seems to be the amount since I joined up. I was only on for a few days in May though.

In one of the tickets I logged last month I asked that I get refunded as the service is unusable, the techie replied saying my ticket number is xxx and he will forward my requet to the accounts dept.

The person that replied yesterday (John Riley) in support told me they are giving a credit.

I don't expect to have worthless speeds for "free" every month if I have to constantly demand credits, I want a service that works and Ill pay for it.

Goed- after some effort the Support people cofirmed that I will be getting a rebate. (and YES, my ticket is still open...)

This at least shows something from Sentech. I still rather want to have a fixed service, but will have to be satisfied with this for a little while longer...

Good Day <<<privet>>>

I have seen in this ticket that your July fee will be
reduced by R649 as a result of lost services. Please could
you provide us with information as to whether or not, i
must keep this ticket open or if you are currently
achieving satisfactory speeds. I have taken all of the
speed tests from your mail and have put them into this
ticket as well fo further investigation.

Regards
Jonathan
