Registering vehicle and checking VIN & engine number.

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea on how to go about registering and licensing a motorbike that has never been registered before? Was always used as a trail bike, but now have just purchased it from previous owner and want to do so.

I have the engine number and VIN - can I check this somewhere like a traffic department or possibly a website?

Is anyone aware of the process and requirements on doing all of this his?

oh uhu,

you will probably have to take it for police clearance
pay outstanding fees and fines
then
COR
then reg in your name.

that was a bad move. you shoulda gotten previous owner to do above at their time and expense....

Here's the universal VIN decoder. For some VIN numbers it shows extended info and factory options. Hope it helps.
