Registering your rates account.

Where can I register for my rates account - I've bought a place but haven't received any accounts in the post.

I'm in the midrand area - I google for an address (948 Sixteenth Rd) - anyone know if that is correct? Trying not to waste time driving around unnecessarily.

Go to the local municipal office and talk to someone in the accounts department...

The Estate agent should have helped you with this. here is the address 300 15th Road Randiespark , Midrand. Go there in the morning like 730. they are beyond slow. so better to be the first one. But think you can only go there with a letter from the conveyor attorney and when the property is now in your name to get an account.

When I registered, I used the City of Johannesburg offices in Sandton. 24 Fredman Drive.
