Is it just me or has the changes to Regulation 28 regarding foreign exposure largely slipped under the radar?

Seems the changes were made effective 23 February, but I only realised that we could already be making the changes in our portfolio when I go a newsletter from Sygnia last week.

Its been in the news a while. Think the change was made after 1 March 2022.

I am personally reviewing all funds linked to REG 28.... maximizing the oversea exposure!

Was kinda hoping Sygnia would either rebalance the Skeleton Balanced 70 or else release something that has maximum offshore maximum equity. Wanna max offshore but they need to make it easy for me. I'm not gonna hold multiple products in my RA.

Originally had the SK70 only, but played around with the calculator in March and the best I could get for max offshore was SK70=44, SYG1200=42 and SygBond=14.

Not sure if anyone could get more ? Please share. Thanks

I'd rather give them time to determine the best way forward first.

Sygnia has done extensive modelling and ran hundreds of thousands of simulations to
determine how best to adjust the global allocation in our balanced funds.
