If, God forbit, you use MS Proxy, then you can use the MS Proxy Client to encapsulate all your non local lan TCP traffic and send it via the MSProxy.

Just a note, if you use an HTTP proxy and want to tunnel anything through it, the proxy must support the HTTP CONNECT method and the ACLs on the proxy must allow for CONNECT to ports other than just 443.

Karnaugh, it took me 15 minutes to get through our company's SQUID. With some more effort I could probably get IRC to work or something, but web surfing is all I need atm for unrestricted googling on projects I'm busy with.

Why not just ask them for an unrestricted surfing account, if it's in the interest of the work you're doing for them?
