This verssion does not have a 2G mode only.Dual mode will drain battery power

epic fail with this upgrade on the 9900... since i did the update last night, my phone keeps on freezing, or it only goes on SOS mode and when i restart my bb it freezes a couple of times at the Vodacom start up display picture... any advice or anyone else experiencing the same thing?

when i use WhatsApp, after the message has been sent, it goes over on SOS mode...

I've been running this version for 2 weeks and do not have any of the issues that you mentioned. How did you upgrade? Did you wipe before or straight over install?

just upgraded over the network... straight over install. did i follow the wrong path?

Not wrong. I just found that the type of install you did can lead to problems. I personally rather backup, wipe then install. I have found that its much better that way.
