Hello all,
Looking to get a mid-range laptop for the SO sometime in the week. Nothing too special - simply need it for web-browsing, Outlook, and managing photos etc.
I've seen quite a few that have the specs we are more-or-less interested in, but that are touchscreen.
I'm not at all familiar with the technology behind them - are they likely to fail - or would they be pretty robust? All the salespeople we speak to, suggest that if the screen was to go faulty, a TS would obviously be significantly more expensive to replace/repair.
Any insights would be appreciated...
