Hey there!

I relocated to a back to my home town just before Tzaneen, place is called Haenertsburg.

School wise, english private primary school is called Unicorn Primary, then there is a Afrikaanse primary school too.

High schools in the area:

Merensky - * English / Afrikaans - Good at Sports, Drama and Agriculture (the have their own farms with orchids and animals)
Benfoster - * Afrikaans mainly - Great rugby school
Stanford College (private school) * English mainly - IEB, one of the best Adventure schools in the country, has a dam, fishing and sailing as school sports, great in hockey and rugby www.slc.co.za PS. I went to Stanford

Housing -

Rental in Tzaneen is ALOT cheaper than Johannesburg, you can find a full 3-5 bedroom house for around 10k-12k p/m in tzaneen. You can obviously find cheaper if you stay on a "farm" just outside tzaneen, typically 6k-9k p/m. BUT i wouldntadvise that as the areas surrounding tzaneen have been hit by farm attacks, so thats a no-no in my opinion.

Depending on you family situation, you could look at staying where I am in Magobaskloof, 30km from Tzaneen, it in the mountains with pine forests and trout dams (its an un commercialised Dullstroom). Alot of people stay up on "the mountain" and drive down to Tzaneen to work. Minimal crime, i sleep with my doors open

The humidity in tzaneen is high in summer months and "the mountain" tends to be 5deg cooler.

Your more than welcome to drop me a p'm if theres anything else you want to know..
