I have been using the remote assistance in windows meesenger to help my clients with odd problems if i cant go out to them. It work fine when every one was on dial up, but now that ever1 has adsl it doesnt work!
I know the routers is somehow blocking the connections, and since every1 is using different routers, i cant go setup every 1. Is there something that i can install on all the pc`s
that will enable me to do this. i cant explain to every1 how to setup their routers. i just need something thats very easy to use and some1 with no technical experience will be able to setup on their side without me being there.

thx
i downloaded and installed UltraVNC
do i now just install this on client pc`s? and how will they connnect to me or me to them?

are they behind a NAT router, probably are
setting up vnc to work thru a nat router is a bit techi
sorry for that:o
I think LogMeIn will be the best for you
https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang=en
click on download logmein free
this is web based remote conrtol and will work thru any firewall or router
it works great, i use it to rc my pc in my office from home
u install the client on the remote pc's and point it to you logmein account. From your pc go to the https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang=en website and login and a list of pcs will be displayed

I second the use of LogMeIn. I use the free version on +/- 30 computers for quick remote support to clients.

I have also tried the paid version and the extras offered [file transfer and remote 2 local printing] are options I rarely have need for. To transfer files, I e-mail them between the remote and local machines.

No router tweaking, no firewalls to modify........ it just works.

You can try ULtraVNC Single Click, all you need to do is setup on your side, and configure the SC file (Ultravnc Single Click) & send it to your clients. So basically they initiate the Remote Support from their side but u control their pc.
