it seems that i cannot use my ellies remote blaster and iburst or my linksys 802.11b router all together. they are on different frequencies but this seems to be the case. is this correct???

with all that equipment im not suprised. It won't make much difference if they're on different frequencies. For instance, if an opera singer sings, and a rocker sings, but 15000 people screams, they'll drown them out (unless the rocker has uber speakers)

There's too much noise. And I doubt you NEED your remote blaster and linksys router to be THAT close to the modem.

magnetic waves

but there are 1000s of electraomagnetic waves about = tv, radio, cellphones etc etc they all work.

Remember that electronic freq filters are not perfect , there is always some freq leaking through , no matter how well they are made

I have an Intel Wireless 11.b pcmcia card, which connects to a broadband router with a built in wireless access point and 4 port switch, and connect to that (in fact on top of the router) I have my Iburst desktop modem. So I do not understand why it should not work. Prehaps theres a problem with your setup?

I also have a radio and my cell phone in the general proximity, and have never noticed a degredation in service.
