the person has a set of remote blasters. she says that in the bedroom it works fine. the blaster in the tv room does not want to change at all. what could be the problem there? when they take the remote of the bedroom to the tv room it works fine. could it just be the remote then? thanks

No real need to start another thread on this, you had one going already?

Anyway, get her to re pair the blasters - take the 2 blasters unplug both for 10 seconds. Face both towards each other, no more than 0.5m and plug them in at the same time.

You will see a few lights flash and if it is a wizzard blaster, a red light should stay on indicating that they are now paired.

I had the same issue on the weekend, the above resolved the issue for me.

No, you unplug both blasters, then face both blasters towards each other, no more than 0.5m apart, plug both in and you will see both lights flash a few times and then a constant red light will stay on if the programming was completed successfully, if not unplug them, wait 10 seconds and try again.

Remember I am assuming she is using the Wizzard blasters. They are the most popular, but you do get others. You may need to find that out and google it.

So the ones in the tv room should always face the decoder in the tv room right meaning the red infralight point facing the decoder directly? also what about the blaster in other room which direction should it be facing then? thanks

Yeah face it towards the decoder, works perfectly for me.

The one in the other room doesn't really matter, just face it towards the person wielding the remote :p
