Hi there.

Home: Win 7 Ultimate x64
Office: Win XP Prof SP 3 (connects through WIN Server 2003)

I connect from home to office as follows:

https://office-machine.dyndns.org/remote
(Remote Web Workplace)

This opens up the 1st login screen. I click on my name (I have admin rights) and under Optional settings I click "Enable files or folders to be transferred between the remote computer and this computer".
Click "Connect".

Nothing happens and a small triangle with exclamation mark appears bottom left and an empty screen. When I take the tick away, everything works fine but I cannot copy files between the 2 machines.

When connecting from office to home with RD, file transfers work 100%.

Surely I must be able to connect from home with RD. I will appreciate your help.

Regards,
Deon

For easy tasks i use Team Viewer. I hadn't any problems with it by now and my file transfers worked like a charm.

I would hazard a guess at the fact that there is probably a firewall blocking certain traffic. for example I assume that the file transfer would use SMB. which use port 138, 139 and 445. Your firewall might allow outgoing connections established on those ports, but not allow the incoming ones. It's an idea. If at all possible, try and see what ports are being used for your traffic, and it might give you an idea.
