I went to log into my remote server and got this strange message:

"The pre-release version of Remote Desktop Connection has expired. To download the full version of Remote Desktop Correction, go to Windows Update or contact your system administrator. "

So I went to Microsoft Update and downloaded the XP version of RDC and at the end of the install got this message:

"Remote Desktop Connection cannot be installed because your operating system already has a built-in version, See All Programs Accessories Communications Remote Desktop Connections on your start menu. "

Any one have thoughts on what's happening here?
Thanks,

No idea whats happening. I'd just put UltraVNC on the machines.

I seem to remember that someone else here ran into the same problem though. I think it was killadoob. Maybe do a search & see if you can find that thread.

ive fixed it

u need to dl the package, put it in a folder other than sys32 and BINGO
