Here is a solution to a problem I had last year:
Question: My steam game library has grown quite large and includes games that I no longer want. How do I get rid of them?
Answer: Now this question may seem arbitrary but many people have had it. Imagine buying a game on impulse and finding some offensive content in it (think the Bioshock infinite incident a few month ago) or that it's so embarrassing you want to get rid of it (e.g. Drug wars).
To resolve this: Log a support ticket with valve (there is no support category that matches this ticket so pick any one
) and mention that you want the game removed from your account on the grounds of the Steam Subscriber Agreement point 10 section B that states "You may cease use of a Subscription at any time or, if you choose, you may request that we terminate your access to a Subscription. ". Just note that you WILL need to rebuy the game if change your mind and that bundle games can't be cancelled individually. I did this before, it takes about 2-5 days for the ticket to get processed, they will usually ask you to confirm that you understand you can't reverse the action before proceeding. That's that.
