Removing Soft subs

Anyone know how to remove softsubs or know a program to get rid of them without killing the video quality.

"Softsubs" by definition are displayed seperately by the program - eg Media Player Classic - it shows the SSR or other subtitle stream inside the MKV file to you - you can disable that in the menu. Hardsubs or hardcoded subtitles are part of the video stream.

The subtitles you see in DVDs are soft, unless they were part of the original video.

You'll need to strip out the subtitles from the MKV file. Look for a tool to do that, ideally on www.videohelp.com or www.doom9.org

its OGM files... though it should be the same right?
