Removing the catalytic converter

Always remove the cat. You turbo will last longer, improved fuel consumption, more power in some cars.

It must give more power when removing the cat converter, its a cork in the system.

The fact that cars were designed to run with them and there for it wont give more power is not true.
Infact the rear cat does nothing for performance it actually tweaks your engine indirectly to have the cat work effeciantly and to run more environmentally. So in other words it doesnt care about performance at all.
Just aslong as it keeps the cats converting bad gasses at an optimal rate.

The R900 is not actually that much because they dont only cut out the cats, if you only cut them our the ECM will throw and error and you will be driving with the Engine light on all the time, not good if you get a new error you wont even know.

They normally install mini cats which contains a bit of Catalic converter material,
Cats and their rear sensors are Bad for performance point!. The front sensors are a Must!

Biggest problems with CAT's and diesels is that they start to block.
It happens so slowly over time you never seem to notice.
Once removed, the engine can exhale again, so it feels like you have a new car again.

Best is just to knock the material out of the pipe and insert it back in the system, that is if you do not have sensors on them.
If you do have sensors, it can become expencive.
