Removing Vista

Shouldn't a reapir install of Vista repair the MBR? Or if there is a Recovery Console running fixmbr from there?

EDIT: When I played around with the Vista beta version, I installed alonside XP and it had both in the boot screen. I see no reason why a repair install should not act in the same manner. But then beware I don't use Vista so I have no clues as to its behaviours.

also if you do a search for boot partition manager you should find something that might well do the job.
