Renault Clio

Hi guys.

Test drove the Clio today, was rather disappointed with the driving experience. Anyone else have similar experience or any thoughts?

I had the same experience if you are speaking of the Clio 0.9 tce I think it is, I was car shopping and was really into the Clio, looked really good on paper until I drove it, I was driving a polo vivo 1.4 at the time and when I got back into my own car I was just thinking to myself how much nicer it was to drive my vivo than the Clio, ended up buying myself a Ford Fiesta, which I will say has been an awesome car, 1 year and a couple months later and I'm still happy.

I test drove the Sandero Stepway 0.9 tce, and in first gear pulling away at the robot the car was completely lifeless for a good 3 -4 seconds before the turbo kicked and we could move. In gear acceleration wasn't too bad, tested out the overtaking capabilities of the car and was somewhat impressed. However the Clio brand new at R220k with that engine is unfortunately a rip off in my opinion.

My brother has the RS, just amazing!

My problem was also the engine, felt very delayed and lifeless when pulling away, felt like I had no torque whatsoever.
