Renault Duster - anyone have one?

Corsa and Nissan bakkies need some competition in that space, so all for it.

This would probably be labelled as a Nissan if it comes here. It looks decent enough, only issue was the payload. One report I read put it at 400kg, which would be useless. The NP 200 is smaller and can carry 800kg.

Strada and Arena can do that.

As far as I know Fiat have said that the current Stada will not be made in RHD.

dont think it will ever come to ZA
too much competition with bakkies here.

SA on has 2 half ton bakkies left, the Nissan NP200 and Chev Utility. The NP 200 has stopped production in Europe already, and the Duster is expected to replace it.

My only concern with bringing it to SA would be price. The NP 200 starts at about R140 000 while the Duster suv costs R200 000. That price is in line with the NP 300.

Removes a fair amount of metal and 2 seats... Should cut the price down to make it in line with the NP200

Wondering about wind noise @ 120km/h

I hate when people go on about " its basically a rebranded..."
those idiots need to be shot. on site!

they obviously dont know bugger all about cars!

I have a new 1.5 and was wondering what others owners have to say about wind noise driving @ 120?

100% of the duster drivers encountered so far drive like sht-heads.

Seriously...the reckless BMW drivers are doing better....

Wind noise @ 120

Apparently, it's the rails on the roof rack that cause this, although I can't say I've found it particularly noticeable.

Thanks Garp
Have asked the dealer to rectify the problem by having the roof racks removed but was told that they couldn't sort out the holes left behind in the roof. I was wondering if one can't fit covers over the center sections??
