Hi guys
So my wife bought a new Renault Duster. When collecting the car we noticed a slight mark on the paint of the skirting. Except for that, everything was working perfectly. Today the guys from the dealership came to collect the car to fix the paint. After dropping the car off again (the paint was fixed beautifully, I think they replaced the skirting thing) the radio stations were reset and suddenly the neither the maps nor the nav function works. When selecting the maps or nav function it shows the standard gps warning (don't fiddle with it while driving...), but I cannot select "Accept". Also the time of the media-nav system is wrong and according to the manual that is automatically set by the gps.
It might be unrelated, but the OBD connector cover was open. I don't know if it was like that since we got it, that is why I'm not sure if it is related.
Now my thinking is that they disconnected the battery while replacing/fixing the side skirting thing, after which they reconnected the battery. The gps was then somehow switched off and cannot be switched on through any conventional means. The other option is that after connecting the battery they accessed the vehicle diagnostics through the OBD port and fiddled there and didn't realise the gps was switched off.
Has anyone else had this problem before?
Regards
