Renault Megane hatch - Need advice

Hi Everyone,
I hope there is someone here that can advise me please.

I have a Renault Megane 2 1.6 16v 2007 petrol.
I need to know where to find the fuel filter as I serviced the car and was given a fuel filter buy the spares shop with the rest of the service items for the car. Unfortunately I cant find the fuel filter on the car anywhere and the internet hasn't helped me with any info.
If anyone owns one please advise as I'm clueless.

I looked under the car, tried to follow the fuel line as most cars have them under the car near the fuel tank, so I looked under there too near the fuel tank and on both sides.

That's what I was going to suggest, if it's not there then it could be inside the tank. I hope that someone who owned the car previously did not bypass it, people do strange things

What does the one they gave you look like? Is it the regular type.

I have checked on the renault forum, but mostly UK forums, so its a bit different.
Someone suggested they don't have filters and its built into the tank, I just need to know for sure.

Unfortunately My fuel filter isn't where this video show it to be.

i have a feeling the spares shop gave you the wrong fuel filter and its actually located in the tank , which is the reason why you cant see it.

I have checked and it is not there.apparently if its a diesel thats where there filters sit.

I serviced the car and was given a fuel filter

Enjoy the refund of that item, and put it towards a cabin filter. (Aircon filter)

Because it is highly unlikely that the previous owners did anything about that during service intervals...
