Goodday, I am having a bit of issue with Renault Wonderwaters in Wonderboom regarding a Renault Koleos which is still under warranty , the car's electronic parking brake is fault and i am being asked to pay for the labour of 3hrs to trace the fault, from my understanding this is a warranty claim that should be handled professionally, i have had to claim in the past with other car manufacturer and never have i once be asked to pay for labour to determine the fault and possible pay for replacement on a car that still has an active warranty plan. I would like to know why do we buy cars and when parts fails on a car and we bring this to the attention of the dealer to honor the warranty claim we are asked to pay for labour to determine the fault. I really think people buy cars for peace of mind and warranty claims should be honored. I have left the car at the dealer and have refused to agree to any form of payment as i believe this is unacceptable and now am without a car with a bad electronic brake. Please Help.
