René Jacobs established the Gartner presence in South Africa and for the last sixteen years has been the Managing Director of IT Management Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd, Gartner's exclusive distributor in Africa and the Indian Ocean Island regions.
Under René's leadership, IT Management Advisory Services has established and grown the Gartner membership base in the territory to more than 150 clients, representing many of the Top 100 companies in South Africa, as well as having clients situated in other parts of Africa.
