Renewing your subscription ?

Hi Guys

The WAR bug has bitten me again. Now with about 1 month almost passed, can you guys pls tell me if you are going to renew your subscription. (A poll maybe)

Based on this I will then go out and get a copy.... or not :o

If i can find a way to remove my CC off my wow account then yes :p

AFAIK, you can only start the account billing when it becomes available (8th October)?

I canceled my CC subs on WoW to move to Airtime cards. But I might as well then give it a try. I know you loved WoW and it must be a big thing if you say YES :p
 
I for one will probably just finish my month and go back to WoW.
Warhammer is fun and all but the novelty is starting to wear off already.
I like the graphics/style of the game and i like the fact that everyone is still noobs....other than that not really much else at the moment.
Its still the same go here kill this, go there kill that. With battlegrounds inbetween.
Even public quests, you do it a couple times untill your influence is full, then move on to go kill X wolves or whatever.

But who knows, maybe something new will catch my attention again.

now this is confusing :confused:

So your saying that you prefer WoW over WAR based on PvE grinds or is it the PvP you don't like ?

Bud, the solution is simple; get it and try it. I bought AoC to try something different from WoW and I shelved it. I will also give WAR a try at some stage.

Dont know what you are confused with but lets me explain some more.
What im saying is the it is essentially the same PVE grind. (But you can also get exp from battlegrounds)
PVP is more fun atm because most people are noobs. But im sure this will change later.
Also tradeskills are few atm and boring.

But i agree, get the game and try it out for yourself.
If you still like WoW a lot you might be disappointed, but if you are really sick of WoW....this might just be the thing for you.
Im still gonna try it for the rest of the month....these are just my feelings so far.
I must also point out that it is MUCH more fun playing with a friend than playing alone.
 
Renewing as well. As soon as I'm able (8 Oct), or I'll buy cards from gamersloot.

WoW is fun, but Ive seen and done it all. The game offers nothing to me. Raiding? Been there, done that, lost interest, as hard as beating up scripted bitmaps can be at times, it doesn't give me the same rush of adrenalin as wading into an all out war. BG's? A lot fo fun but I am SICK to death of them all, I've farmed literally hundreds of thousands of honour and if I ever see Altervac Valley again I will literally puke. The fact that the expansion is going to force us to keep playing the same old BG's with 1 extra BG for a change of pace? No. Thanks.
Arena? Retarded concept in an MMO, which will always be filled with class and gear imbalances. Large scale pvp largely mitigates balance issues. REvolving everything around tiny gladiatorial combat? Fine in Quake or something where it truly is individual skill that matters rather than gear, class and lag. Fail concept. Fail implementation. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Will I play WoW again? Probably, in Wrath, to see the new continent and toy around with the new class. But I don't think i'll ever take WoW seriousl again. It's not truly a game for a warrior. It's a game for carebears and epeenorz.
 
I am kinda sick of WoW. The addiction is fading. I used to look forward to getting home and playing WoW. Lately I just mess around and lvl alts so I have something to do.

I feel I need something fresh and new.

As for the PvP, this is what is getting me excited about WAR since the time the making of it was announced. I hate the PvP in WoW as I have tried once again this weekend to get back into it on my rogue and had fund for the first day but then the novelty wore off again.

There is to much unbalance in there. ShS + Sap, kidney shot bla bla bla. Kill after kill and no fun what so ever.

I would love to run into a battle and the battle at least lasts a little longer before it's over. I can see a battle of 1on1 at least lasting a minute or 2. Now that will be awesome.

In WoW a fight that lasts longer that 20 seconds is a noob fest :eek:
 
I havent played WoW in two weeks.

I don't miss it at all.

My internet was down yesterday though and I couldn't play WAR. I was getting really, really irate that I couldnt log my Black Orc and cave some stunty skulls in.

That's how I know I'm not going back to WoW.

Cancelling my WoW sub tonight. Will reactivate with a timecard to look at Lich and reevaluate then but right now WoW is dead to me.

Renewing canceling WOW for sure till end game content of Warhammer will compare in few months atm i like Warhammer more.I saw castle sieges and the scale its been done looks freakin awesome cant wait.

I am lvling with a friend were still checking out classes after playing engineers both and got owned by one Black Orc I rolled a Swordmaster and he a Warior Priest.Still low lvl so if you guys hurry you can join us :)

Playing order side on Sea Of Dreams server.
My Swordmasters name is Bankai
And Engineer is called Stoned.

We lvl and play over ventrillo makes things intresting :).

Anygame can be even better if you play it with people you know.

All this talking has got me in the mood to play it again now. :P
 
Another point now that everyone has had time to play it.

Do the people play the dungeons like they do in WoW ?
Are they actually grouping up for it as there is gear worth running the instances for ?

Or is it just a straight out PvP fest

It will help if you go past lvl 1with Hecnell. :)
 
Got a lvl 9 Orc and lvl 6 Zealot.

Pit, havent done a dungeon yet.
They are few and generally dont give any good gear untill much later in the game, or so i have read.
Usually people do the Public Quests which is almsot like a dungeon out in the open where everyone can join in.
But yes it is more of a PVP fest with PVE filling the gaps, especially at higher levels.
