Renovate my place

I'm in the process of revamping my place. It's more of painting and buying new furniture (everything). My main focus is the living/sitting area.
The kitchen has all the built-in stuff. Them bed rooms don't need much - just beds are enough

I need some DIY color combinations and all - Top Billing stuff

I'm sure Blu and PitBull have some suggestions for me.

Any ideas? Pics or websites I can go to?
