I know that Tears Animal Rescue in Kommetjie allow volunteers to take their dogs for walks but do you know of any other shelters where you can volunteer to take the dogs for walks?
 
I tried a few places in Gauteng last year but they mostly said they dont need it but I could make a donation.
 
Awww abzo is a fellow animal lover - go to Darg in Hout Bay - My families adopted from there and they are always in need of people - personally though I roll around in the cat garden

Also never been pestered for money

Try Lucky Lucy Foundation, they are always looking for Volunteeers

Those are too far for me. I can't adopt. Just want a dog to walk or some cats to roll with.
