Hi,

I am one of those 'undecided' if I should buy a PS3 now for all the recent awesome titles or just wait it out till PS4 releases.

Anyone know of PS3 console rental service in JHB area?

Thanks

Dude, if you are only considering ps3 on the verge of the ps4 release then you gotta ask yourself if gaming is for you?You seem to have not played ps3 in your life?:wtf:

The price point of the PS3 and the library of the PS3 should keep him going a long time after the PS4 launch. If he's not played PS3 then it is a good time to get into it.

Rent or buy the ps3. it will always have a place in your home, esp if you have kids. Ps4 estimated price point is too high in my opinion.

Yeah, but didn't the PS3 cost around the same at launch?

Then dont you think he should wait till after ps4 release then the prices of the ps3 bundles should drop?

Yup people do tend to forget that it cost the same.
Also when the PS3 came out the PS2 didn't immediately drop from its 3000 price it took until around the launch of the slim for it to drop.

People seem to forget this.

Havent forgotten at all. I was one of those early adopters and paid for it (ouch). He could wait for the price point to drop and then buy the ps4, but what to play unti then> at least with a rental ps3 or cheap bundle ps3, he could check if he likes gaming on the ps3 and then make a call on the ps4

OP: My PS3 is up for sale if you are interested? PM offer.
250GB Slim, 2x DS3's, PS Move bundle and 6 Games

Why bother to rent (going rate by us is R20 a day per game) when for R450 per year you get a whole lot of titles from PSN+ The best thing about the PS3. I've got over 30 titles this year and it keeps on growing each month.

I'm starting to play games I normally would not even consider as a rental and loving them.
