Repair/Maintenance Costs

Anyone know what the current costs are to get you pc fixed or just performing general maintenance on it by IT repair shops? for business & home users.

last time i saw pricing for this, 5 or so years ago it was R 250 per hour but with an initial R 450 diagnosis fee.. then there was a small price list for various tasks as well, virus removal, reinstall windows etc.. forgot those prices.. this all still excludes costs for components needing replacement.. with inflation, these may have increased though..

My sister not too long ago was quoted 2k to have windows reinstalled on a laptop :wtf:

Did a job last week. Spent 9 hours on the system.
Data backup (500GB)
Install of her Office and setup of Outlook.
Removed about 50 kinds of Viruses and installed ESET and that was just over R2000 for it all (incl ESET 1 year lic)
