My BB Bold's screen started freezing a few months ago. When I want to move from one application to another, it freezes for 30 seconds to a minute.
Last week, it gave a message to the effect that it is updating data software or something to that effect. However, the download never progressed further than 20% and got stuck there.
I rebooted a few times and thereafter, it looked as if the phone was reset to its original state, i.e. my desktop photo was not there anymore and was replaced with some default photo and the desktop items were arranged to the default state.
Would it be worth taking in for repairs and if yes, to whom?
My biggest issue is that i would like to retrieve photos and videos of my daughter that are on the phone.

I've had many a phone fixed by them and their ilk. Best part is that you get to determine the price.
