Hi

OK, its my fault - I accept the consequences

I mistakenly deleted a folder of CR2 RAW files. (Shift-Del) They originated on Canon 5D MK II. They were downloaded to PC no prob, until I deleted them.

I managed to recover most using an undelete program but a lot of the CR2 files are corrupt and will not open in PS, zoombrowser or anything.

My question is - is there a program commercial or otherwise that can attempt a repair of the CR2 file. Googling hasnt helped much.

This was on an NTFS drive connected to windows 7 64bit.

The files were downloaded couple of months back, so I cannot get them off the CF card either.

any help / advice greatly appreciated.

TIA
B.

How long between you deleted the files and recovered them?

I realised a day after something was wrong, but there was very limited wring back to the disk - but there was some.

Since I deiscovered what happened I have made sure nothing else was written to the disk.
