I need some help, please.
On 6 Oct 2017, I delivered my car to Auto Elegance in Alberton, to repair the head gasket on my 2014 Ford Fiesta ST. The quote for the repair was R15694.
I am starting the 4th week without my car. According to the limited feedback I got from them, the first week was spent on stripping the car, the 2nd week was spent on head xray and the 3rd week was spent on re-coding the car keys, as the car lost the coding, because the battery was disconnected for so long, which is a BS story, according to Ford. Friday afternoon they phoned me and said the car is starting, but it dies shortly after and they don't know why and even Ford could not solve this problem, which I am again thinking is a BS story.
Anyway, this "repair" is taking way to long, but I am not sure if there is anything I can do? Can I collect my car and take it else were, without paying them? I am sure they will have a new story to tell, by tomorrow morning...
