far away land, but it's nice here
i'm stuck here..
i ended up buying a fake 4gb mspro duo card for my psp.
i cant exchange ti via the seller and my options are all used up, but i have figured out that if i keep the data on the card below the 2gb limit, then the card works fine, after 2gb and i start getting corruption.

so i understand i have a 2gb card, badged as 4gb, with some sort of fake partition table.

xp and vista wont repartition the drive, neither will diskpart.
i zeroed out all the sectors on the partition table, reinserted the card (vista/xp said it was blank and needed a format) and it reformatted it as 4gb...so the "size" of the card is stored somewhere else...

does naybody know how to get this to understand it is a 2gb card, so i can at least use it reliably while i lick my wounds..

hmm....when you fromat it cant u select the size u want?

thats really crap...

have u tried using a 3rd party partition tool (www.google.com) to make two 2gb partitions?

then obv u would only use the one partition...

good luck

how the hell you gonna partition a stick for the psp,it will never work properly.
Check the forum at www.psp-hacks.com,they have a answer for you --^search there,i saw it a while back.
Why did you not post it in the psp thread, then i coul have researched it for you better
