I have a WD Live hub which i've had for a few years (http://www.oneshop.co.za/p~western-digital-live-hub.html). Unfortunately the remote control is starting to give up. I doubt it's going to last more than a few more weeks before most of the frequently used buttons stop working completely.
I've been looking for replacement control's and haven't been able to find much. Here's one for R1355 which seems ridiculously expensive (http://www.wantitall.co.za/Western-...Elements-TV-HD-Mini-Live-Plus-Hub__B00EPQ3K8E)
Is there such a thing as a universal remote control that can be programmed from another control. Im thinking something like a blank control which would 'read' the signal from an existing remote control when each button is pressed and allows you to save the frequency. Not sure if something like that exists?
If not, then there's no way im spending R1355 on a remote control. It will probably be better in that case to just buy a new media player (any suggestions...?)
