Hey, does anyone know where I can purchase a fibre cable like this in Durban?

It runs from the wall to the Alcatel modem. My current cable is damaged and no longer working. I've been met with blank stares from every shop I've been to, including Incredible Connection and the Telkom shop itself. Any advice will be appreciated, thanks!

Looks like an SC connector, not used much these days. There's also multi-mode and single-mode fibre, they usually not interchangeable.

Closest I have
The cable and the connectors are both colour coded to certain specifications. Make sure that you match them both exactly otherwise there will be microscopic differences that will cause you lots of pain.

Yes, it is a Subscriber Connecter (SC) which is pretty common for end user connections outside of a data center since its larger and more robust. The green colour denotes that is Angle Polished (AP) which give lower signal loss but will not mate correctly with a flat polished (blue) connector.

The yellow cable colour denotes single mode fibre. Single mode is used for pretty much everything that extends outside of a single building.

Thanks for the help and suggestions thus far, will make a few calls.
